David Goodrich (Goody) is a veteran touring and session musician, producer, composer, and teacher living
in Austin, Texas. Specializing in guitar and other stringed instruments, improvisation, accompaniment, and arrangement, he is fluent in a wide range of idioms from rock, pop, and country to jazz, experimental, and new music. With 25+ years of international touring experience, he has played on hundreds of recordings, scored multiple films, and produced dozens of critically-acclaimed albums. A life-long student and longtime music teacher and coach, he studied composition at Berklee College of Music and with such teachers as
Pat Metheny, Joe Henderson, and Mick Goodrick.
